This year’s theme is "The Beach Episode." Beachwear and swimwear are welcome, but must still follow all general dress code rules above.

Swimwear & Beachwear

Allowed

• One-piece swimsuits

• Two-piece swimsuits with full coverage

• Swim trunks and board shorts

• Rash guards

• Cover-ups, wraps, sarongs, and beach shirts

 

Requirements

• Chest area must be fully covered

• Backside must be fully covered

• Swimwear must remain non-see-through at all times

 

Not Allowed

• Thongs or G-strings

• Micro-bikinis or minimal-coverage swimwear

• Sheer or see-through swimwear

• Lingerie presented as swimwear

 

 

 

Convention Space Expectations

Kawacon takes place in a shared indoor convention space.

• Swimwear is best suited for beach-themed programming and designated areas

• In general areas, attendees may be required to wear additional coverage

 

We strongly recommend bringing:

• Shorts or a skirt

• Tank top or shirt

• Cover-up or wrap
